The demonstrations were done in both English and Sinhala medium ensuring that language barriers were not an obstacle to learning. The demonstrations were done by the teaching assistants of ICHEM. A key highlight of the workshop was the opportunity for hands-on chemistry experiments. Over the course of four intensive hours, students were led through eight practical exercises which were important for the A\/L Chemistry examination in the organic and inorganic chemistry areas. The success of this workshop extended beyond the physical confines of the Institute of Chemistry Ceylon. Thanks to the tireless efforts of Dr. Upul Kumarasinghe, Dr. Chinthaka Nadun Ratnaweera, and Mr. Jaliya Ratnaweera \u2013 all esteemed members of the Chemistry Olympiad of Sri Lanka \u2013 Zoom sessions with practical discussions were done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignleft size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.web.ichemc.edu.lk\/cosl\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2023\/10\/Oct20Workshop3-1024x768.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1264\" width=\"265\" height=\"198\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>At the event&#8217;s conclusion, all participants were presented with well-deserved participation certificates. Dr. Kushan Weerasiri had the honor of presenting these certificates.
