Amidst the commotion of life, to all those who are passionate and have committed themselves to witness the progress in chemical sciences, the Institute of Chemistry Ceylon proudly announces the international conference \u201cFrontiers in Chemical Technology 2020\u201d to be held from 20-22 July, 2020 at the Galle Face Hotel, Colombo, Sri Lanka.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Frontiers in chemical technology, abbreviated as FCT 2020, is a milestone in the history of the Institute of Chemistry Ceylon organized in celebration of its 79th<\/sup><\/span> anniversary. The team that is behind the proceedings of the conference comprises renowned professionals from around the world who are ardently striving to bring FCT to life. The general objective of the conference is to create a common platform for scientists, industrialists and academics, both nationally and internationally, to come together to collaborate, share and discuss knowledge on technological innovations that would evidently lead to a better tomorrow. Moreover, as a country that is currently challenged with many monetary glitches, the conference is an eye opener to all the myriad opportunities that await to be explored when it comes to the resource hub of Sri Lanka.<\/em>

    The International Conference on \u201cFrontiers in Chemical Technology 2020 (FCT-2020)\u201d marks a new step that the Institute aspires to take together with renowned global and local scientists and industrialists. The conference will focus on technological developments in the field of agriculture, drug development, nanochemistry, green chemistry, sustainable development, genomics, metabolomics, and industrial chemistry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The poster session and mini lab expo would be held in parallel. We are hoping for a circulation of over 400 academics, scientists, industrialists and students from all over the world.
