The Institute of Chemistry Ceylon (IChemC), endorsed by the International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) steering committee, has initiated the Chemistry Olympiad Sri Lanka (COSL) \u2013 2024. The Preliminary Selection Test on February 11, 2024, marked the beginning of this prestigious event, attracting 500 students across nine centers nationwide. Conducted in Sinhala, Tamil, and English, the 2 hours and 30 minutes exam aimed to identify top contenders who will represent Sri Lanka at the International Chemistry Olympiad. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The IChemC proudly declares the test a success, highlighting the dedication of participating students as thirty-one candidates has been chosen to advance to the National Chemistry Olympiad Examination 2024. Scheduled for April 2024, this national-level competition promises to showcase the exceptional talents of these candidates. The brightest minds will be honored with National level Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals at the Annual Sessions of the Institute of Chemistry Ceylon (ICHEMC). Beyond this recognition, an extraordinary opportunity awaits the top four performers of the National Examination, as they will be chosen to proudly represent Sri Lanka at the International Chemistry Olympiad in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
