The COSL committee introduced the Sri Lanka Junior Chemistry Olympiad to promote problem-solving skills in chemistry among junior school students. The first competition was held in January 2025, and it will be conducted annually alongside the Sri Lanka National Chemistry Olympiad. Only students below 17 years can participate at this competition.
