Students who won bronze medals and an honorable mention at the 53rd International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) 2021 representing Sri Lanka were recognized recently at an award ceremony organized by the Chemistry Olympiad Sri Lanka committee of the Institute of Chemistry Ceylon (IchemC). This event was held on 14th December 2021 at the IChemC headquarters. Senior Professor Sudantha Liyanage, Vice Chancellor of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura grace this occasion as the Chief Guest.

Due to the Covid19 pandemic situation in the country preliminary round of the National Chemistry Olympiad competition was not held in the year 2021.
