About the Olympiad
The Sri Lanka National Chemistry Olympiad (SLNChO) is an island-wide competition for students who are enthusiastic about chemistry. Conducted by the COSL Committee of the Institute of Chemistry Ceylon (IChemC) since 2017, it helps identify students for selection to represent Sri Lanka at the International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) and the International Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad (IMChO).

Current A/L Chemistry students
Students currently following the G.C.E. Advanced Level Chemistry curriculum may apply.
2026 A/L candidates
Students who sat for the 2026 G.C.E. Advanced Level examination are also eligible to apply.
